Preserved flowers are real natural flowers that have undergone a preservation process designed to maintain their natural appearance, softness and beauty for an extended period. At Blossomy, preserved roses are selected at their peak and treated using a preservation process involving glycerine and other plant-based compounds.
Unlike fresh flowers, preserved flowers do not require water and can be displayed indoors as long-lasting floral décor or gifts.
Preserved flowers are real flowers that have undergone a preservation process designed to retain more of their original appearance and softness.
Dried flowers have been naturally or professionally dried to remove moisture, creating a different texture and appearance.
Blossomy combines both preserved and dried flowers in many of our floral arrangements to create depth, texture and a distinctive everlasting floral design.
With appropriate care, Blossomy preserved roses can last for up to three years. Their lifespan depends on the environment and how they are handled. Keeping them indoors, away from direct sunlight and humidity, will help maintain their appearance.
No. Never water preserved flowers.
Preserved roses and dried flowers have already undergone their preservation or drying process. Water, moisture and humidity can damage the flowers and reduce their lifespan.
Preserved roses generally do not retain the original fragrance of a fresh rose because of the preservation process.
If you wish to add fragrance, never spray perfume or essential oils directly onto the flowers.
Our glitter roses are hand-dipped in our Sydney studio, giving each rose its own unique look. Because every flower is individually finished by hand, no two glitter roses will have exactly the same glitter coverage, sparkle or texture.
Some petals may have heavier coverage while others may show more of the natural flower underneath. These natural variations are part of the handmade process and are what make each glitter rose unique.
Yes, some loose glitter may naturally shed, particularly when the roses are first unpacked or handled. This is completely normal for our hand-dipped glitter flowers and does not mean the product is defective.
No. Each rose is individually hand-dipped, so glitter coverage and sparkle will vary from flower to flower. This means your arrangement will have its own individual character rather than looking factory-made.
Yes. If your glitter roses need a little extra sparkle over time, they can be refreshed with a light application of suitable adhesive spray followed by a light dip or sprinkle of glitter.
Always test a small, inconspicuous area first and allow it to dry completely before applying more.
Our glitter rose collection includes faux/artificial glitter roses, which are individually hand-finished with glitter. Please refer to the individual product description for the specific materials used.

We recommend displaying preserved and dried flowers indoors. Outdoor exposure to sunlight, rain, humidity and changing temperatures can significantly reduce their lifespan.
Preserved flowers can gradually change colour over time. Direct sunlight and strong artificial lighting can accelerate fading, so we recommend displaying your arrangement away from bright, direct light.
It is best to handle preserved and dried flowers as little as possible. The petals and foliage are delicate, and excessive handling can cause damage.

Yes. You can include a personalised message with your order.
If you do not enter your name as the sender on the gift message, Blossomy will not automatically print your name on the card. If the recipient contacts us asking who sent the gift, we will contact you for permission before disclosing your details.
Selected Blossomy orders can include a free personalised video message. You can upload a video during checkout, and the recipient receives a unique QR code that they can scan with their phone to watch your message.
Yes. Blossomy floral arrangements are handcrafted and individually arranged. Because natural flowers and foliage vary, each arrangement may have subtle differences in colour, shape, texture and flower availability.
